How Billing Works After the End Of Your Free Trial

• The billing cycle is monthly and aligns with the calendar month
• After your free trial ends (see above), you will be billed in arrears at the beginning of each calendar month
• You will be billed based on the number of devices that were in an enrolled state during the month and the modules enabled on those devices
• Devices:
  • Devices will be billed for the full month even if the Absolute Agent did not contact Absolute’s hosted service during the month
  • Devices will be billed for the full month even if they were not enrolled until mid-month (no proration)
  • Devices will be billed for the full month even if the devices were unenrolled during the month (no proration)
  • Devices will not be billed if they were unenrolled prior to the start of the month
• Modules:
  • Features of each module are enabled on devices in the ConnectWise ASIO platform via policies, packages and sites
  • Each module is billed at USD$1per month per device. However, you will not be charged for the Base module ifyou have features of the Discover/Guard module or the Heal module enabled. You will only be charged for the Base moduleif you have no other features enabled
  • If you have features of both the Discover/Guard module and the Heal module enabled, you will be billed forboth modules (i.e., $1 + $1)
  • If any of the features in a module are enabled on a device during the month, we will bill the device at the full rate as if all features in that module were enabled
  • If any of the features in a module are enabled on a device at any point during the month, we will bill the device for those features for the full month (no proration)
  • Billing is based on the enablement of features to devices via policies and packages - it is NOT based on usage of the feature - i.e. if Device Freeze is the only feature used and100 devices have a Device Freeze policy assigned and 3 devices are frozen during the month, you will be billed for 100 devices with the Discover/Guard module = 100 * $1

Billing Examples

• If you registered on May 16 and your free trial ended on June 30, you will be billed in early August for any devices that were in an enrolled state during the month of July based on the features (and modules) enabled.
• If you enrolled 100 devices onJune 8 during your free trial, and you then enrolled 50 more devices on July17, and you unenrolled 10 devices on July 19, your first bill in early August would be for 150 devices, for the full month.
• If all devices had only the Base module, without enabling any other features, you would be billed for 150 devices * $1 =$150 for July.
• If all devices had onlyGeolocation and Device Freeze enabled (i.e., features of the Discover/Guard module), you would be billed for 150 devices * $1 = $150 for July.
• If all devices had onlyApplication Resilience – Bitlocker enabled (i.e., feature of the Heal module),you would be billed for 150 devices * $1 = $150 for July.
• If all devices had Geolocation, Device Freeze, Device Wipe and Application Resilience - Bitlocker enabled(i.e., features of both the Discover/Guard module and the Heal module), you would be billed for 150 devices * $2 = $300 for July.
• If all of your devices had Geolocation, DeviceFreeze, Device Wipe and Application Resilience – Bitlocker enabled at the beginning of July, but you disabled Application Resilience – Bitlocker partway through July, or you disabled it on only some of your devices, you would stillbe billed for 150 devices * $2 = $300 for July.
