Our Official Statement on the Crisis in Ukraine

Absolute Software is united in expressing our concern and prayers for the citizens and families of Ukraine, and with those around the world who oppose this unprovoked attack on a sovereign nation. It’s a horrific crisis that continues ensuing, forcing innocent bystanders to fight for their lives and in many cases flee their homeland.

While we don’t have active offices in Ukraine, as soon as these events began, we immediately accounted for all Absolute employees. It’s important to note, we have team members of both Russian and Ukrainian heritage. We are assisting them and their families in any way we can.

We are also working to support our customers in Ukraine and across the region. Because of our unique position in the firmware of more than half billion devices, we are able to provide counsel on how to leverage some of our unique capabilities to swiftly locate employees and their families and help get them to safety.

At this critical time, we are in the process of making an immediate donation to the humanitarian relief efforts that will provide aid for the unfolding refugee crisis. And since many across our company have a strong desire to help, we are providing mechanisms for them to donate financial contributions where possible, and Absolute will match those funds. We are also working with partners to assess what more we can do for families as they flee Ukraine.
